We seriously need to make sure the pacemakers are doped to the gills before putting them out there with Kipchoge.

Anyone see the dude handing Kipchoge his bottles getting super pumped every time he hands one off? Lol
haha
Yeah, little wind, but as noted, brilliant sunshine. The 2 pacers that Kipchoge dropped were sweating profusely early. Kipsang still has all 3 of his pacers.

3) Now there is only 1 pacer- how could they not get more pacers than this? or racers?
If I remember correctly, there are limits to how many pacers a race/runner can have per the IAAF Gold Label Rulebook is they wanna maintain Gold Label status
Kipsang 55 seconds back at 20K, with 3 pacemakers.
Kipchoge is 20 seconds under WR pace with 1 pacemaker. Running off his shoulder, not directly behind him.
kipchoge still working well with this last pace maker 20 seconds under world record pace.
20 seconds ahead of WR pace.

Wow. Kipchoge seemed to be slowing, but he made up 11 seconds from 16k to 20k. Let's hope he can maintain.
1:01:06 at the half!!
101:06 half way
And a minute up on Kipsang! 101:06 at 1/2 for Kipchoge

C'mon Kipchoge! You can do it! You don't need no flank of pacemakers when you're wearing the Nike Pegasus.
omg, 61:06.
