Who is this commentator?
"His CV on the track is almost second to none"
I thought so, too, looking at the splits on the German broadcast and the running total distance meter there. But those seem to be all over the place from shot to shot.. Official splits lagging since they just got the 35km splits up on the official site. But now it does indeed look like he'll make it in 2:01:xx! And Kipchoge is still looking awesome!

If he breaks the WR by a huge margin, I have to question the tech of those shoes.
It has come to that.
He is showing no sign of fatigue.
Yeah, how could any human ever have been a minute faster than Dennis Kimetto?
41 km 1:58

GOAT!!!
2:01:40, hugs Patrick Sang, gnight folks.
Unreal
Quit hating. Sugar is a nutrient, not a drug. If the other guys don’t want to take on as much as possible, that’s on them. I would be chugging Maurten every chance I got. Are you going to tell them they can’t carb load the night before next? As for the drugs, you may be right but even if you are, they are all on them and Kipchoge still comes out on top. By far.
2:01:40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He’s obviously used to wheelchair athletes. Personally I’d of kicked that guy in the face.
This is nuts. And he does not even look fatigued or exhausted. Just dashed across the line and is chilling.
2:01: 36???
2:01:40, negative split, 2nd HM in 60:34
Holy F
2:01:40
2:46 and 2:49 the final kms
That settles the GOAT discussion.
Pacemakers? I don't need no stink'in pacemakers!
