Unbelievably dynamic and exciting race. It featured the newly-minted World Record holder, the reigning world champion, a two-time former world champion, the reigning Comrades champ, another former Comrades champ, a slew of guys who have been top-ten at Comrades, and the other men who have posted the other fastest 100k times of the year.
Brutal course, brutal heat. Lots of great punches thrown with big swings in leads and the team scores over 6+ hours in the Croatian countryside. Japan threw down big time. Really impressive running -
