She's expressing milk at the same time as you can clearly see in the picture.
I know that.
Then why not express enough milk before the race to not have to breast feed during the race and treck the baby all over the country.
Perhaps the baby will miss the comfort of its mother but it's not getting much in 5 minutes.
Hahahahahahahahaha
This reminds of all the times my husband tries to tell me how/when to pump/feed my little one. Perhaps with a bit more education you might realize how absurd your suggestions is. I have no idea how old her child is (I didn't read any of the text), but for the first 6 months a baby has to bed fed every 3-4 hours . If mom doesn't feed/pump every 3-4 hours, not only will she become uncomfortable, her body will stop producing milk.
Body will stop producing milk after 3-4 hours complete nonsense. Do s woman dolels through one night and can never breast feed after. Nonsense my wife breast fed and often our baby would sleep right through the night.
As for feeling uncomfortable she could easily then just express using the pump.
Back to comforting the baby. Well our baby would never be comforted after 5 mins. They can. Latch on for hours. It's also true they sleep better in cars. But again it's not recommended to have a baby sleep too long in a baby car seat. I remember reading a few hours max as seats are not flat. All recommended baby buggies upto 6 months have lie flat feature s baby car seat dies not have.
So if the father came out once or twice in car it's ok for these feeding sessions it's ok. If they followed the 2 sat race in the car with the baby it is not ok.
My son is approaching 4.
There was a sexust assumption that I'm a man on here because I coach.
Second it's sexist to deem as some have that as a man I know nothing about the subject.
Breast feeding in public is ok. This just strikes me as self publicity from someone who has made a career out of ultra running off unless someone can post me her ultra race wins/times little actual ability at it.
