Not sure what to make if this, nothing wrong with it but surely you could just express the milk and have your partner feed it instead of trecking the baby all over the country?
Is it just attention seeking?

Nope, not attention seeking. It’s just breast feeding.
It’s annoying it made a magazine article - not the runners fault. And you’re the one whoring it about social media. Douche bag.
Bro, I thought this was going to be about an ultra race where I could get nourishment at an aid station from a wet nurse's tit. Breast feeding ultra runner.
THAT would be newsworthy. This isn't newsworthy.

Isn't that just Ultra "running" itself? This is just the cherry atop the cake...

She's expressing milk at the same time as you can clearly see in the picture.

No. Sad Jamin is targeting women who don’t speak English. For good reasons.
Racing while breastfeeding is extremely difficult. I can't even imagine how hard it is as an ultrarunner. I would suggest you MYOB on this topic. Signed - someone who has actually breastfed.
Another stupid white america thread

Absolutely nothing in this post makes any sense:-
1. If you know that racing whilst breastfeeding is extremely difficult, then how can't you "even imagine" how hard it would be as an ultra runner? Wtf?!
2. Why would you possibly suggest the OP MYOB on this topic? Don't you understand that was the entire purpose of his post? i.e. he'd be quite happy not to know about it but as an attention grab (?) it was thrust in his face. He literally COULDN'T mind his own business, that's why the thread exists...

How short of a race did you do while making this necessary?
We need more pics to make a better assessment.

I know that.
Then why not express enough milk before the race to not have to breast feed during the race and treck the baby all over the country.
Perhaps the baby will miss the comfort of its mother but it's not getting much in 5 minutes.

It's all over and orchestrated. This runner has not one completed race in po10 and has successfully made a career out of hiking

Who is whoring it in social media,?
https://mobile.twitter.com/ultra_sophie/status/1038178346545369088I think you're misinformed with your statement. I think a three month old getting even "5minutes" of quality nursing time is pretty important for both mom and baby. Pumping is super tough emotionally and getting that time with baby helps produce more oxytocin/keep milk supply up. Plus, baby still needs to nurse from mom a lot of times so they keep that skill/latch up. Nursing from a bottle is different and some babies have difficulty eating enough from a bottle also.

Excuse the poor fella. He wouldn't know, as he's still drinking mommy's milk straight from her breast.

Hahahahahahahahaha
This reminds of all the times my husband tries to tell me how/when to pump/feed my little one. Perhaps with a bit more education you might realize how absurd your suggestions is. I have no idea how old her child is (I didn't read any of the text), but for the first 6 months a baby has to bed fed every 3-4 hours . If mom doesn't feed/pump every 3-4 hours, not only will she become uncomfortable, her body will stop producing milk.
