I have no desire to coach any of my female athletes in the 800m. "Hey, you'll never be the best, as there are men competing in your event" is the premise and base of the women's 800m till we get this cheating out.
Caster is not cheating nor is she guilty of anything, and making race a part of this controversy only makes matters worse. The crux of the matter is whether or not intersex or transgender women should be allowed to compete against other women with their natural T levels. I think the answer is no, and I believe that there is data to back up my opinion.
The letsrun guys actually do a pretty good job on this issue.
I do think it is amusing that the first article misidentified Robert Harting.
Those two dudes looked like they were having a good time.
Not true. I'm of the same race of Caster and the two other hymorphydite 800m runners and I KNOW its a travesty they are still competing against regular women. So try again with blacks siding with blacks.
Caster stated I wouldnt mund doing the 400m, 800m, 1500m triple at Worlds or Olympics. Thats VERY MANLY OF Caster, isn't it?

We already learned from just about any high profile case some people will side with some other people no matter how blatantly guilty they are

You seem to be confused as to the difference between anecdotes and meaningful statistics.
Wow - LRC linking to a Breitbart article?
But come on, Lebron James wasn't in Berlin JUST to see Caster compete. James was in town to host a street basketball tournament and as part of a NIKE promotional tour, and got a chance to watch most of the meet from VIP seating. When he was at the meet, he also presented a Lakers' jersey to Germany's Robert Harting.

Thanks you did well fixing that person's post.
Caster knows its wrong but taking advantage of the situation. Im not saying Caster did anything wrong but competing with testerone levels your competitors can never achieve due to having some male develooed/undeveloped genitals is clearly unjustifiable. Im done talking about such a blantantly wrong debacle.
Lower Caster testerone levels or create a new category for athletes with the same hormonal situation THE ONLY TWO LOGICAL AND FAIR SOLUTIONS. Doesnt matter if its only 3 or 4 of them competing against each other, please remove them of the track with regular women. Nuff said.

Is there a Castrato joke in there?
Thanks LBJ for supporting the sport!

I agree with this person. He should not be allowed to compete, but the rules are allowing him to compete. Until they change the rules then he can win all he wants.

Ya'll could pretend to be a news related website instead of just posting some click bait garbage from garbage news sources. Lebron was there doing all things Nike related. He did not fly to meet & support Caster. They did meet when he was there. Who cares? Lebron is not as closed minded as you. Get over it.

Cmon there's a reason Brojo didn't start a thread just saying Lebron is at the meet in Germany or Lebron presents Lakers jersey to athlete. He picked something controversial just to get clicks and shared a link from a joke website. Losing a lot of respect when this is what the founders of this place choose to share and this is how they choose to report out.

Why bother with a separate category? Maybe they should just kill themselves instead since they're not "regular women" eh?
Moran.
Nothing I stated was wrong when comparing them to women with regular hormonal levels. You on the other hand cant tell me how its fair for athletes with AT LEAST 3 times testorone levels of their competitors or any woman should compete against them?
Waiting for your intelligent, logical, and mature respone....

Mennwith 5 ARD insensitivity syndrome. Still men, still developed secondary make sexual camharaxteristics which differentiate the sexes in athletic performance. Dutee Chand has complete insensitivity to testosterone produced by the make testes, hence no primary AND secondary male sexual characteristics. Debatable if any athletic advantage.
Let’s stop talking about intersex because Tyrner’s and Klinefelter Syndrome (3 sex chromosomes) are incredibly rare and disabling. These are not intersex or remakes, but males with testes that produce male hormone levels and varying degrees of insensitivity, often only in the juvenile developmental stages.

This is neither her Fault, not her responsibility.
Its the IAAF and the other governing bodies who are in control here. The ire should be directed against them. Unfortunately they're weak minded and soft, and will hope that CS will eventually grow old and slow.

Yeah, well that's a "logical" and "intelligent" response right there isn't it? Why exactly would you be comparing a hermaphrodite's hormone levels with your "regular" womens? You'd have to be a complete half-wit to be doing that.
Of course, the situation is more complicated than that. You've got:-
A. Dinosaurs, like yourself, flowing sweet tears of loss that your beloved Women's 800m has had it's sporting purity in some way horrifically violated, which effects YOU personally in a way you can't really fathom.
Vs
B. Allowing people, who, through no fault of their own, have been dealt a tough hand, to try and decide for themselves (how dare they!! right?) where exactly they fit in in this world - and by extension give solace / inspiration to thousands, if not millions, of people in similar positions.
But I guess the simple answer is A. right? And those in position B. should just keep their heads down, never have any aspirations, and just be thankful to avoid abuse from the likes of you eh? Oh yeah and because it's a shame for the one or two elite woman inconvenienced...
