Are Jim's legs not attached to him? That is strange.
Haven't some of the best known advances in human accomplishment been the result of multiple 'DNFs' from really pushing hard?
Some non-athletic examples:
-NASA Apollo Space Program (appreciate someone will reply suggesting that it didn't happen, judging by the style of some of the contributors to this thread)
-Development of the nuclear bomb (OK, now I'm really expecting incoming fire)
- I'm pretty sure the development of the computer has had it's moments...
-and dare I say the stuff that Elon M does...
Athletic examples:
- Climbing Mt Everest
- Climbing any other challenging mountain
- Ocean rowing
- Reaching the North and South Pole
- countless other expeditions into the new territory
Anyway, I'm just stirring the pot a bit because I couldn't care less what sort of personality Jim has; he's determined to do something well and push to and beyond his limits, so kudos to him and I'll consider myself a 'fanboy' even if he's a Royal jerk!!!
Have a great weekend folks!

A DUI for a stupid reason makes Walmsley a loser? You better find a more productive use of your time.
Do you not understand what he means? Weird for someone who runs? Some days you don't feel as great as others. His legs clearly didn't feel fresh to race a 100 miler after his training.
