All i have done is to show the facts about every 9.80-and-better 100m athlete, and pointed out factual historical parallels between BJ and CC.
If those facts are inconvenient to you, so be it.
The person who knows the most about Coleman is Coleman himself.
For the time being, like I said, I don’t like this 9.79 at all, because of what such a time has meant historically.
Worse yet, historically, is the 9.77 basic. Coleman has inserted himself here:
Dolt
Blake
Gay
Powell
Coleman
Gatlin
No athlete has ever proven that a sub-9.8 basic can be achieved without that athlete testing positive for some banned substance at some point in his career, or being seriously implicated by other evidence, except Dolt—and for reasons such as major record, progression, Diack, no testing in Jamaica, head-and-shoulders #1, the suggestion that he could go 9.6 basic, when nobody else could go even 9.7 basic, is one that I do not find credible.
YMMV. Coleman has not yet tested positive, but many of those who did, did so later in their careers. For now, we form our own opinions, and watch, and wait.
