Thank you very much for the suggestions. I tried to the eggplant lentil bolognese and the vegan mac and cheese and they were both pretty decent. Update on my end, I got biopsy results back on Friday and I was positive for a mutation called ALK. Fortunately for me this means I'm going to go on an oral pill called Alecensa to treat the cancer. It is a form of targeted treatment and my Dr.'s do not expect me to experience any side effects from this and they've told me that this form of treatment is actually more effective than chemo. In regards to my running I ran around 30-35 miles last week and while I am still slower than I would like to be, I have found myself coughing less than before I was diagnosed, not sure the reason for this but not going to complain about it. I'm about as thrilled as one can be with the ALK diagnoses at this point and the idea that my life is more or less going to be unaffected by the treatment sans taking a pill everyday. Once again thank you to everybody for the support, prayers, and advice it is greatly appreciated!
