Would he run 2019 worlds possibly? Seems like a relatively easy World Champs Medal Grab in a tactical and hot race in Doha.
I have a big feeling there is going to be another sub 2 attempt in spring 2019.
Maybe Nike might throw in some Mzungos like Galen, Jake Robertson, Suguru, or Sondre Moen.
Mo shouldn't be counted out either.
They will obviously feature Eliud, and other top east african talents like Kamworor, Bekele, etc.
Galen and Jake Robertson will be the first Mzungos to break 2:04 imo. Jake is a bigger stretch just because he has posted a 2:08 as opposed to Galen's 2:06, but I feel both are capable for the task. Zane Robertson will run 2:05 to 2:07 once he gets more training under his legs following injury and gets in the right race. He will likely run a debut marathon this winter, maybe Tokyo.
The world record will go down in Berlin at 2:01 high or 2:02 low, then Eliud will segue that performance into a sub 2 with perfect conditions/pacers/pace car/etc.
