It looks like a hybrid of Pegasus with a thick continental rubber from Adidas.

What would an accelerometer on the shoe be used for?
That's not an accelerometer. Just new tech of which I cannot be more specific about. MAJOR things coming out of Beaverton through 2020. It all starts in October.
Smart insoles/shoes etc. Isnt really major...Yawn
Definitely not the regular PegTurbo. Also definitely not flyknit like we've seen Camille Herron and Jake Robertson running in (JR wore them in B2B). Looks to me like maybe an earlier prototype of the PegTurbo. It's the same black prototype PegTurbo upper that we saw on Lopez Lomong as well as on that Nike chic running the Berlin Marathon last year or the year before. Definitely not the regular PegTurbo midsole though. Looks more like almost a standard Vaporfly midsole on the prototype Turbo upper. Those are my thoughts.

Vomero 14 proto upper with modified vapourfly midsole with carbon plate and forefoot air.
Looks like they got rid of the ridiculous heel extension and it's hard to tell but the drop looks a lot less severe.
They are RunScribe pods, google to find a little bit more information and the benefits of using them. Certainly when testing different shoes

They are the Nike airbags. Just a prototype, not on the market yet.
They are illegal AF! the 4%'s are trash compared to the "bags"
Great find! Nike clearly going for an ultra plush trainer with a plate for speed but still offers ample protection
Nike making a HOKA big cushion sole for the rocky ass summer ski resort trail run crowd.
KISS boots.....

Prototypes. They’re working on a Vaporfly that has the carbon fiber plate AND an airbag as well as Flyknit uppers.
Sounds like a car.
The pods are definitely Run Scribe. These pods measure all kinds of forces including pronation, excursion, shock, velocity, efficiency, cadence, etc and the app allows all kinds of comparisons between shoes, paces,etc... very geeky stuff but ideal for measuring shoes in development or comparing shoes . No expensive force plates Lab required. . The shoe looks like a VaporFly with more forefoot stack and maybe less drop?

RunScribes
Hokas are s***. They don't have the money to use quality materials and innovate like Nike does.
All Nike is doing is combining the ZoomX foam with Air Max pods in the forefoot. The new meets the old.

Should we send Nike an invoice for the free publicity?
I know they used to have summer interns who part of their responsibility was to surf LetsRun.com.
He looks like a hobby jogger in those Hoka look-a-likes and those silly compression socks, still, I guess that's where the dollars are.
