I'm curious if patents are preventing another major shoe company from selling a spring-plate to the public? Brooks and Hoka are the only other two known with a carbon spring-plate prototype, but Brooks has limited production now and starting to supply their elites, I cannot imagine them going to this kind of expense without planning public sales? what Koen Naert did is ridiculous but it's way nicer looking than the previous frankenstein mashup they had
