Everytime someone is making a thread about treadmills in here, theres always the majority who claims they aren't good for training.
Funfact...the ingebrigtsens even do treadmill workouts at altitude (when there are great weather and running oppertunities) because of the accuracy of a treadmill versus feel. They are big on controlled workouts and threshold intervals.
Are they too soft to run outside in Norway during the winter? MNGA.
Does Henrik wear his "weekend at Bernie's" disguise on the treadmill?
They're not for running, the brothers are testing if various types of planes will take off.
Rumor has it, in their spare time they're building a helicopter that will take them to the moon. It's solar powered or some sh1t

Don't think they have much else of a choice in Norway Winter or do they spend the entire winter in warmer places?

Yes there is, at least a scary many number of comments saying this. Check it out next time.

They are at altitude camps during October, january and April.
The weather isn't bad where they live, little to no snow. Henrik and Filip used to do cross country skiing and did roller skiing intervals in parking garages before school.
They just like the controlled aspect of the treadmill.

Hardloper Ed is a troll on here. Don't bother replying to him.

Links?
Luke V. did a fair amount of treadmill work too. ..
I love treadmill workouts. No guesswork. Set the pace and go with it or have to admit defeat and change the pace.

Interesting. I am on LRC about 50-100 times per day and I run 20% of my weekly mileage on the treadmill (so I read most treadmill threads) and have rarely seen anyone claim this.
Jakob just triggered a $1M bonus clause in contract with NIKE..
He is the future. His base was only $35k.

I have long thought westerners need to utilize treadmills if they want an advantage over East Africans but then again there are clips on youtube of Geb, Bekele, the Robertsons training on them so?? Perhaps East Africans are using them more than we realise.
How scientific are they? Are they sleeping in altitude tents? I notice the dad was giving Henrik either a prolotherapy or traumeel injection in Rio for his hamstring.
