A bad day in Boston, she might have not done so well with cold rain on a slow day.
Probably the best thing for her in the long run. She had a good training build up, a good rest from the injury, a good start for fall training and now she will be ready for another fast Chicago.
Win or top finish she is going to end up the fastest marathon time average of any American woman ever.
