I agree. I said "in the ballpark" because I can see some people thinking that he must make finals and/or wins medals at the world level before being dubbed "world class."

There are equally wrong predictions of a high school phenom becoming an olympian and they don't even have a post-collegiate career.
I wouldn't ever bank on someone continuing to improve and wouldn't ever bank on someone never getting to a certain level.
