No way in hell Slaney ran 23.7 for 220 yards. Maybe handtime, running start, strong tail wind, and a coach trying to boost her self esteem holding the clock.
Just the fact that it’s in yards makes the time super fake.

Slaney’s 52.77 is impressive but a world away from 49.9. Let me put it this way. 49.9 could get you a medal at the Olympics. 52.77 could get a medal at college conference meet.

Totally agree, but how many of the other women on the list could even come within a minute of 8:25.

600m: 1:21.77 WB
800m: 1:54.25

World records in those events:
Marita Koch 47.60
Jarmila Kratochvílová 1:53.28 (she was probably a he too)
Genzebe Dibaba (ETH) 3:50.07 (works with a coach that is known for doping)
Kratochvílová is not a guy, but was like Koch part of the Eastern Bloc's steroid experiment.
The other ladies discussed here, Wilson and Slaney, are/were also dopers.
Semenya has testicles, not ovaries. No vaginal canal.
My high school teammate ran 49.9/1:54.8/4:18 mile. Semenya's run 49.96/1:54.28/3:59 or 4:00 1500, which is equivalent to about a 4:18 mile. These times are now pretty equivalent to one another. Recall that the 400m record in 47.60 and the 800 record 1:53.28.

Maybe he isn't that fast, and this isn't a humorous issue.

Look at the Kenyans, they are totally different in built than you or I, yep, it is what it is. Is it fair for Jamaican sprinters to run against Asian sprinters? Really think about it.
Semenya is doing nothing other than being who she is, just like we all do.
Are you saying Safa women all have balls?
Fine list. Notably, the only other runners to go sub 52 and close to 4 were Olizarenko, being doped like crazy with Dianabol and so on, Semenya, and Maria Mutola, 51.55/1:55.19/4:01.50, also suspected to be a case like Semenya's, namely, xxy female with high testosterone and a build that you would otherwise never see in a female 4 1500m runner.

How fast was Mary Slaney at 400?
Mary ran 2:02 at age 14 but only ran 52. Olizarenko was the closest with a sub 51 and sub 4. This puts Semenya's performance in perspective, but also Mary's range.
Slaney: 52.77, 1:56.90, 3:57.12, 8:25.83
Quirot: 49.61, 1:54.44, 4:13.08
Mutola: 51.55, 1:55.19, 4:01.50
Miles-Clark: 49.40, 1:56.40, 4:31.41
Olizarenko: 50.96, 1:53.43, 3:59.48
Semenya: 49.96, 1:54.25, 3:59.92
Kratochvilova: 47.99, 1:53.28

The female Juantorena! Why she bothers with 1500 is beyond me; she would stand more chance of winning a 400 in Diamond League races than a fast 1500.
If she had better endurance a sub 50 400 should point to a 800 in the low 1:50s; "jog" through 400 in 55 and come home in 56? 57?

What was her name?
I’m more impressed with Slaney’s 52.77 400m than Semenya’s 49.9.

Seriously, no one cares about a dude breaking 50 seconds for 400 meters. I can't wait for the new testosterone limits to go into effect. Semenya is making a mockery of the sport. I find no entertainment in watching him run and am not impressed with his performances.

With her 49 400m and 3:59 1500m? What should her 800 be? I'm guessing faster than her 1:54 pb

I use a little formula myself and I get 1:53.0 using 50 flat and 4:00 (her PB is 3:59.9 and 49.96).
