I just bought two pairs of the tempos out of fear of not having any more in the future for workouts (I'll switch to the Boston at that point).
I always did my workouts in trainers, but you guessed it - Adidas tinkered and made a shoe worse. Theybreplaced the Adidas Sequence with the Supernova ST. For most purposes, the new shoe is fine. But once I hit tempo pace or faster, the unusual heel counter (it's a split heel counter with the middle just being fabric, no plastic) can't hold my foot welll and I feel like I'm coming out of the shoe.
So they tinkered and now I've changed my approach to training. I go from workouts in heavy trainers to workouts in snug and moderate weight trainers.
But damn, I love the Adios (which I've raced all of my three marathons in), Bostons and Tempos.
