Saw Mission Impossible last night. It was good but I do have trouble telling them apart.
Anyhoo, I am impressed with how fast and smooth Tom Cruise runs for a little guy. I wondered if this is sped up or enhanced some way. I assumed so.
Thoughts? Better yet, any facts known?
Does Tom Cruz run that fast?

And yes, I forgot to add the Rotten Tomatoes link:

I always liked A Few Good Men.
don't believe he ran a step in that movie. -
I liked him in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle
-
I didn't know Tom Cruise was that short.
-
His running style is classic, I was actually going to start a thread about how the BroJos need to have a Hollywood style running championship.
-
He is. He's also a Scientologist. But I don't think they are related

I thought the movie was boring compared to the other MI movies because they did the same old tricks as previous films (scan face and impersonate a villian, jumping off buildings, etc).
The part where is sprinting does look odd -
His best moment was in Collateral where he chases Jamie Foxx out of the hospital. He must have been in sub 60 400m shape then.

That's some serious procrastination material you found there, congrats! There's way too much words on the subject for me to read the whole article but I've watched the first video and seen this just below :

We counted every instance of Cruise’s running on screen, in seconds, and then calculated the distances ran by assuming he is clocking a six-minute mile
...when you clearly see he's almost always sprinting cause...ain't got no time.
Their numbers must be way off. Estimating his small dude sprinting stride length should lead to a much more accurate result. -

Did he run in any of the softball scenes? -

Yeah filmmakers have a way of making guys look taller than they are.....Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Tom Cruise....if you see them in person it's pretty noticeable -
Is it literally me or does people imagine a younger Martin Sheen would look like current rojo of screen.

He runs out to catch up with Demi Moore in one scene. -
Again, we are wondering off topic...
Is he that good of a runner or was this enhanced? -
Ive seen on threads about celebrity runners that he was a pretty good runner in HS. Its easy to look fast 1.) when your short 2.) only sprinting for short distances
-
A fun watch for those interested....or have the time:. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U8Q2MgdMskQ&t=26s#menu

...........and after several takes to get it right.

he's known to always do his own stunts, so i'm guessing he can do his own running... -
Pet Peeve. The overuse and misuse of the word literally. Replace with just and do not ever use the word again. Thanks!
