Agree with your general point—except for Idaho. There are some really nice parts of Idaho if your into mountains / outdoors activities / trail running.
Here are the acceptable states to live in...CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, CO, MA, NY, VT, NH, HI, DC.
Everywhere else is a sh!thole state and, I agree people only live in sh!thole states because they have to do so for job or family reasons. No one really likes humid summers or harsh winters (caveat for winter is if you live in Ski country than there is a purpose for snow, if not snow is just a nuisance). Everyone defines a “nice day” the same way and people arguing they like weather we all know sucks is a defense mechanism used by people who are stuck in sh!thole states.
