Start the clip at 3:10 and put the speed at .25 . He clearly has both feet off the ground on every stride.
wow, you're right. EVERY stride he's got two feet off the ground.
i hope this sport goes extinct soon.
If they freeze framed everything then everyone would be DQed. I remember at the Olympics they had s ground camera and 98% of walkers had both feet off the ground.

I guess i haven't seen race walking in a long time or maybe it just looks even more ridiculous on a track vs out on the roads. The technical performance sunglasses and the track kits and the shoes and the shots of the people in the stands and the serious nervous athletes at the start line... then the gun goes off and they all start doing the weird wiggle run/walk. It's like an SNL skit.
+1
Almost certain most racewalkers are comedians.
Tom is the fastest mincer on the planet, and nothing anyone here says can change that.

Love to hear race walk experts chime in...
You can capture a no ground contact from any racewalker if you shot a video of them and did a frame-by-frame freeze. Racewalkers are caught usually when there is intent, a lack of skill or a pattern. I'm sure I will get a lot of disagreement on this, but the nature of the sport is to cheat when you can and some of the greatest racewalkers are the best cheaters.
Lieterally every single person in that video has both feet off the ground on almost every single stride. Total joke.
