Where the f do you live that you've never heard of these? They are everywhere.
In Vegas they have these recovery "clinics" on a bus that goes up and down the Strip.
I don't know that I would use the term meathead to describe him as meathead, to me, has an element of selfishness and cruelty to it. The big football player giving the nerd a wedgie. RL to me is an airhead, not a meathead. He's a cartoon.

Don't get me wrong, he was a great swimmer, likely trains like a beast. Point is that he's a meathead, now past his prime and just needs to hang up his speedo for the good of the sport's public image, which has taken a beating in the past several years. He'd be much better off in Masters competition, where he could still compete if he wanted to against former Olympians without the public eye always on him.

Airhead then. Or knucklehead. That has a nice ring to it.

Good thing Rupp doesn't do social media.
how do they prove this? wrote:
So again, how do they prove anything based on this photo? It seems reasonable to assume that he took more than 100 mL, but a reasonable assumption isn't proof. Couldn't Guido McDoucheface just say "I put the IV in, took the picture, and took it right back out. Prove that I didn't."
Read more closely.
He cooperated.

Just admit you’re wrong and move on, nimrod.
We both know the real problem is you can't admit I'm right. Get over it. There can be people better and smarter than you, it's not the end of the world.
Is the OP aware that Rosa was doing this with his Kenyans 30 years ago? That Hermens does this now? No one says anything about all of the Africans doing this. What is the cowardice behind this?

Fame is the greatest reward one can hope for ??
Remember when Lynsey Sharp faked being sick to get an IV drip and Andy Vernon tore her to pieces?

Most IV solutions consist of physiologic .9% NACL, which is isotonic. There are hyper and hypotonic solutions used, but not normally. So in reality, .9% NACL IV solution is 'salty" but only slightly so. Fluid replacement via IV is much more efficient and quicker than actually drinking, as you skip the middlemen, IE the stomach and intestinal tract. The physiology behind the ban of IV use is that one can quite rapidly increase the blood volume, and dilute any specific banned substance that might be present, to acceptable levels. Maybe. Now the 100 ML upper limit on the volume of IV thats acceptable seems arbitrary, The relative difference in blood concentration seen for a banned substance when 95 ML vs 105 ML of IV fluid is delivered would likely be insignificant, with one being legal and one not. It would be interesting to see the actual data that let them to the 100 ML limit.
