No, weekend amateur rugby players in New Zealand were doping. Who cares? I'd be surprised if amateur rugby players weren't taking steroids. Probably not to give them an edge playing Rugby, but just because the type of guys who play Rugby at the weekends tend to be the type who like to show off tatts and muscles (and their pitbull dog).

Why do you assume that Geb and others were cheating? Their records were sanctioned by the governing body. It is not fair to them for and their accomplishments. Superior performance does not necessarily equate to cheating. So many people on these message boards say things like this with little or no evidence to back up their claims--deep down probably frustrated by their own mediocrity.

That's not being racist but what evidence do you have against Amos and the Ingebrigtsens? If they haven't failed a drug control or appeared on WADA's supicious/"likely doping" list, you should give them the benefit of the doubt. That's the smart thing to do.

I wouldn't say that. In 2015 he runs 3:26 at Monaco and makes it look easy. In 2016 he struggles to run 3:32 in the same race. Tactically, Kiprop is famous for his inconsistency.

Not saying Amos is doping or not doping, but I was going to say that if he was doping it sure wasn't working since 2012. His championship results have been lousy since then, but his season's best from 2013-2017 show him running 1:42 twice, exactly the same number as David Rudisha, who nobody accuses of doping.

It's a remarkable turnaround, six years after 1:41.7, which was itself a tremendous shock. He may be running now in Oregon with OTC, but he has now gone back to what worked initially, I would guess, which was hard training and doping. Botswana and Southern Africa in general have had remarkable success in recent years with no real historical precedent for it in a region with often no accredited doping lab and clear political corruption on a massive scale that would easily permit protection for their athletes from positives if they were even tested. That protection is key, because they might not be doping close enough to the circuit and championships to test positive there, or they might still have IAAF protection of the nature that occurred under Lamine Diack.

Where's the proof?

Has he failed a doping control?

Has been sanctioned in a passport case?

Has he been implicated in a doping ring/scandal?

Was his name listed on WADA's supicious/"likely doping" hacked document?

Just because a young fellow from an African nation runs very fast doesn't imply doping.
