1:54.60 for Caster, 3rd 200m is where she lost her WR attempt (if that is what she was going for).

you guys realize that Jakob went from 3:36.06 to 3:31.18 in a single race?
Damn. Youth is amazing.
Kenyan runs unreal Steeple WR and called dirty.
White kid runs unreal 1500 (would make him the 7th fastest AMERICAN EVER at 1500 for prospective) at age 17 and we say "youth is amazing"
They said Justus Soget’s 3:32, also in Monaco when he was 17, was unrealistic and dirty.

So. Chepkoech went from 859 to 8:44 and she is 27!!

So then, EVERYONE is doping according to your theory, correct?
That's the record until proven otherwise, thanks for your input and yes, you are avoiding the elephant in the room (think about it, but not too hard).
Dude, Wang Junxia admitted they were all on drugs. You must have been the guy still defending Lance Armstrong in 2012!
1:54.61 for Semenya
Confirms she is a Woman.
WR is like 1:53.
"Niyonsaba, also powerfully built"
Fun fact. Semenya still slower than Pamela Jelimo. African survives.

People seem to have a lot of insider info on who's doping around here. From my observations, it seems like white athletes are the only clean runners out there. I can't even imagine how a thought like that gains traction in a place like this.
Everyone on here has been trying to tear down Nike's great white hope (Galen Rupp ) for the last decade. Please don't call it racist
Yeah great post (sarcasm).
Nice PR for Rogers, 1:57.69!
Also this Goule from Jamaica coming in with a 2017 SB of 2:00.56 (and an overall PR of 1:59.38) drops THREE seconds to now have a PR of 1:56.15.
Monaco is wicked.

It's not a farce. The WR is soft.
They need to raise the barrier heights.
Remember, flat 3000m for Men WR is 7:20, record is 7:53
Women's flat 3000m is 8:06, record is 8:44
You tell me which is soft.
Post of the night. Great point.
The women's 3000mSC is a young event that is still very much in development.
The last 2 WRs have been outliers- its true. But then again, back when Samitova ran a 9:01, everyone else was running 10 seconds slower on the circuit. Now, just a few years later, the depth is filling out, and sub-9:05 is the standard for a fast race, and it takes sub 9:13 to make the all-time top 25 list.
You might say that points to doping, I say it points to progression now that a new event has become a standard event.
in a 2-3 years, you'll see the top pack between 8:55-9:00, as opposed to 9:00-9:05 now.
Again, cry foul about doping, but before you whine about the Kenyans, remember that golden girls Frerichs and Coburn are very much in that mix.

Not a soyboy (I had to look it up), but even if I was it would be better than judging athletes based on their race/ethnicity.
I am so sick of this excuse.
Not judging on race, but on circumstance. Look at her agent. Look at her governing body. Look at her peers. Where there is smoke there is fire...
This has nothing to do with race. You can make the same argument for Russian or Chinese women of old. Or American men in the TDF. None of this is about some racial vendetta... it's about clean sport. It's about countries, governing bodies, agents, coaches, and training groups being held accountable. The nation of Kenya has a recorded history of doping, and Beatrice is associated with people involved.
Maybe read what you are replying to next time.

They all train mostly in Norway, right? I wonder where they do their altitude training.
Flagstaff.
^Pamela Jelimo’s African record is 1:54.01

Have been often in St Moritz, Switzerland in summertime. ( Not same country as Sweden as many Americans use to think. LoL )
Large PB for Raevyn Rogers 1:57.69 but disappointing race

Do they have the same asthma issues as the cross country skiers?
This. They are just as suspicious as the African.
But no one will care about that, because they are white.

Is the Bowerman TC doing some of the same things as the NOP? Think about it: Frerichs, Houlihan and others are having dramatic improvements in the last couple of years. Is it training or something else. The times across the world this year are somewhat suspect that something new has arrived in the PED world.
Not at all. I think it's because it's women's running. People can call me sexist but most women aren't banging out 90-100 mpw in college. So if they actually train their asses off post collegiately they can improve a lot.
What other times have been suspect this year? Only 1 dude broke 3:30. Have we even seen a sub-13;00 yet?

Do we really have 6 clear at 2.37 in the high jump?! A shame Barshim got hurt as he would likely have broken the WR this meet.
No, HJ is mediocre ... only 2 over 2:30 so far
And those two guys are the only ones left... wow #nodepth
