I also think its' really dumb to go to school out of state unless it's top level. Absolute waste of money. What a student gets out of school comes down to what they put into it. It's less about school or that school. One exception would be if you absolutely dead set on a career or major and it's not offered in-state. I think those cases are the exception vs. the norm. Not many people end up actually doing what they think think they want to do when they are 17 and making these decisions on schools. You don't know s#it when you are 17.
