Happy Burthday
.... and Cop Killer from Body Count.
Big butts for eternity:
Imagine
Still relevant 50 years from today? Up my sleeves by Death Grips
Made 50 years ago but still relevant today? Heroin by The Velevt Underground and Nico
Making Music Great Again
AC/DC’s ‘Giving the dog a bone’
Football's coming home
I’m sure we can all agree there is only one correct answer, Like a Rolling Stone by Dylan.

Why is everyone not getting the question? It is about CURRENT songs which will be revelent in 50 years, not songs from 50 years AGO which are still relevent.
I would go with Ed Sheeran as been relevent in 2068(the year 50 years from now). I don't know about any of the other current crop.
That is the longest post I have seen from you without using the L-word. I am proud of you!
I can't name a single song from 2018 off hand. I listen to the radio, but mostly NPR. If I turn to a pop station for a while, I don't pay attention to the artists, or know if they are new or old, unless I recognize a familiar song. There might be something out there that I would think is awesome, but I haven't noticed. I find music new to me mainly on youtube, but it's not necessarily current.
I'm the same way with movies. I have little idea what's currently playing. When I go to the library to pick out some DVDs (streaming is expensive where I live, and our main library has huge room with a gigantic selection), I'm as likely to pick something from 1942 as I am to pick out something from 2017. I go with what sounds interesting.
this thread reeks of boomers who know nothing of contemporary music culture, as does every music thread on this board.
To properly answer this question, you need to first define relevance. I will answer first with the definition (1) relevance of a song is how soon you think about it when you think back to the time period (how iconic the song is), and then (2) what will still play on the radio in 50 years.
For definition (1) i think you would need to associate a "sound" with the time period and pick a representative song of that sound. For example, if you were asking what songs from the early 1990s are still relevant today, I would pick something like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana as it represents the grunge sound endemic to the era. If you were to go with definition (2) with regards to the early 90s, maybe rap/party hits like "baby got back", "u can't touch this", or "jump around" which still enjoy popularity today in party settings.
First consider definition (1) with regards to the current era. in my mind, the second half of this decade will be remembered for a minimal trap rap sound, or at least for a strong resurgence in hip hop. This sound, while ushered in by Kanye with 808s, was really fleshed out by Drake throughout his career. Moreover, Drake has enjoyed peak success in the past few years, so I would think something like "Hotline Bling" or "God's Plan" will be considered iconic of our time down the line. I also think that Kendrick Lamar will be remembered as maybe the second/third most major hip-hop artist of this particular time (depending on how Kanye's newest music ages) and songs like "HUMBLE." could be a beacon for our time, but Drake will be remembered as the most important artist of 2016-2018, and those songs will be the most iconic.
For definition (2) I think it's pretty obvious that "Uptown Funk" is not going anywhere and will continue to be musically relevant for quite some time. Perhaps "Despacito" and "See You Again", but I see them dying out much sooner than "Uptown Funk".

50 years from now, this post will be relevant as a stunning example of a pretentious, obnoxious self absorbed twat.
