So, at age 16 (birth date January 20, 2000) in 2016 he won the World U20 Championships in 13:21 (that's right WU20).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_IAAF_World_U20_ChampionshipsThen the next year at age 17, he runs 12:55.58 (Lausanne 2017) at the age of a HS junior. (Has an American HS junior ever broken 14:00-flat?) The same year (aged 17) he wins the 3000m at the WU18 Championships in 7:47 (I beleive the American age 17 record is 8:08?). Also 5th place at the London 2017 IAAF World Championships.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_IAAF_World_U18_ChampionshipsWhy does the world even bother holding these age championships when you have a 80 Africans masquerading as under-18 or under-20? What a farce.
Ask yourself if you really believe that a 17 year old (way far away from 18) could run 12:55?
