This weekend I did a long run with a buddy prepping for the Boston marathon. Towards the end of the run he wished aloud that a buxom babe would expose her chest to him at the 21 mile mark of the upcoming race. It made me wonder about the two components of this: (1) the incentive factor - would this potentially help during rough patches pre-21 (2) the post-glow factor - would memory of this distract him from the pain in the final miles?
Does anyone have experience with this in real racing? I'm not sure I can find a participant for this. If not, I could tell him that I lined it up for him, and hope that he would get the incentive boost and his anger toward me for lying would compensate for the post-glow part.
