You talking about practice? Yep, we are.

Congrats to her, but her evidence isn't compelling. That picture could also support breaking 50 for 400 in practice.
What was her time?
What was the full session?
Who was she running with?
What track is that and where is it?
What race will she be doing in 2 weeks?

As a professional runner, I feel like this should have happened a while ago...

1) sub 60
2) idk
3) Marielle Hall and Kate Grace
4) It's a blue track; Chiavenna, it's in Italy
5) Diamond League Monaco
but the real question.... did she look relaxed???
link to results?
This baffles me. I thought all those female pros could go well under 60 for the 400. What could the marathoners do? Shalane, amy cragg, jordan hasay?
Coburn went on record in the last year or so saying the limit of her 400 speed was somewhere around 58. Surprised me a bit but aerobic strength is a helluva thing.

I don't think she's gonna care if some random dude on letsrun doesn't believe her lmao
Women are about 30 seconds, per mile, slower than men, so would this be comparable to around 53 for a guy?

Realistically, it's more like the 400m speed of a world class 3000m steeplechaser coming more from a 5k background.
I'd say it'd be like getting into the 51.xx sec 400m.

Nice.
I'll put my world champs silver medal up against hers that this is bs...wait, I don't have a world championship silver...but I did _win_ a local 5k once, so I'm right...
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
