agree Julson-she was solid in college but not dominating, but give someone with potential (ie. good basic speed)but limited milage base, and she gradually increased the milage as you mentioned-her progression makes sense...

White women don't cheat.
I just saw this
I haven't seen a 1500m runner run away from a top class field in such suspicious circumstances since Makhloufi
Hugely suspicious, barely drew breath after the line too.
Oooohhh I hope so....?????????????
The only thing that's on the level is that nothing is on the level.
The amusing thing is that those who have had the game figured out for a while get very annoyed when somebody new figures it out. And you could see that after the finish of the W1500m today.
i really wish i could root for her, but 100% she is dirty. everyone arguing that she had great 'natural' speed in high school were probably the same ones arguing LANCE was clean, because he was such a talent.
again, really hope i am wrong, but she is def juicing.
Maybe. No reason to think that track is different than cycling. Large number of people are doping. And whenever anyone runs fast, we have reason to be suspicious.
In the 2000s, people thought the East Africans were 100% clean, but thought that many of the good North Africans, Europeans, and Americans (Regina Jacobs) were dirty (look at the old Letsrun.com polls on this). Now it has become clear that many of the good East Africans are dirty. Oddly, people somehow think this means that the non-Africans are clean. I doubt it. We just learned that the East Africans are dirty, just like everyone else.
It is just human nature. People cheat.
just watch the race, Muir is on the ground gasping for air and Houlihan has to pretend to be out of breath.
I think she is clean.
She is extremely efficient and clearly the most athletic in today's race.

No one likes to point fingers at Americans for doping and I love Shelby but to me it seems weird that she has dropped 7 seconds in the 1500m in the past couple months with her PR today of 3:57 and doesn’t even look that tired at the end with a lot of room to kick. I don’t want to be rude I just want it to be up for discussion .
And this is why we can't have nice things. Complain that Americans aren't competitive and then when an American is competitive and actually wins, let's accuse her of doping. Awesome. You people suck.
+1
This forum is filled with beta males who must find fault in others to hide their own insecurities.
Geesh, be like Semenya. Grow a pair!
Seriously can’t anyone run fast without accusations of doping? Given her build up over the years and training, it’s not like this was completely out of the question. I don’t think she is doping at all. I knew this would come up here because anytime anyone runs well, this site screams doping. Can’t anyone accept that maybe she is that fast? No support at all here-someone runs bad, they get shamed. Someone runs great, they are doping. Smh.

Amen.
Oh please, you accuse the Africans of doping and age cheating every change you get. You can't have it both ways (unless you actually have proof).
I have never accused an African of doping. I have never accused an African of age cheating. Do you have proof that I have made either assertion?

Whoa, whoa, who...wait a minute...you think Dibaba is clean?
Stop it.
I have been in the same room when he was working out in AZ... She puts in more effort than anyone in the room. 100 percent focus and dedication. Hard work got her to where she is...

This is dumb. People run fast all the time without question.
But she just dropped a huge amount of time off her 1500 in a short amount of time. She didn’t even look winded and she runs with a questionable group.
But you probably think Lance was railroaded
I mean she definetlt has changed in appearance.

She looks much more masculine
if an african finished races at the same crazy level as she does the entire message board would easily claim it was drugs. All the sudden, she is out kicking all the established current greats. That is just weird.
winners of races never appear tired (relative to everyone else in the race)
the only time someone who won looked tired was Van Kierk when he set the WR and fell into a coma
Read some of this thread before going for my own run this evening. While on my run I started thinking that it would be funny if the NOP athletes were clean but gathering all the bad press, while the Schumacher athletes were doping but sneaking beneath the radar. In the immortal words of Seinfeld, "I wouldn't put anything past anybody." None of us know where the truth is.
