I really like all the quotes that have been listed already, but still, my favorite one is: " I don't run to add days to my life; I run to add life to my days." I don't think this quote was written by a runner, but anyways it's great, so I thought I'll share it with you! I've always been a massive fan of running, and every time I get the chance to go out and run by myself, I simply clear my mind and calm down. You know how people sit cross-legged with their eyes closed and do meditation? Well, running is my kind of meditation. I also like reading for meditation, and I've recently discovered that I have a keen interest in stoicism. For those who don't know what that is, it's basically a philosophy that makes us more resilient and virtuous. So, if stoicism triggered your interest, then you should check this website https://mindofastoic.com/stoic-quotes out for some motivational quotes.

Native American athlete who beat all odds and the system to stand before a king. And speak as a man who looks up to no one, "royalty" or not:
"Thanks, king."
Make of it what you will; this is my take.
"When I race my mind is full of doubts - who wil finish second, who will finish third?"

Is that a runner in the movie Caddyshack? "Hey baby, you must have been something before electricity."
