Saw Mike Wardian before the start of a marathon, waved to him and said "yooo mike!" He came over all smiles, we shook hands and he was super cool about taking a quick picture. Told him it was cool to have him run in the city and he just appeared so excited to be there to run, said he loves the city and was stoked. Such an awesome vibe about that, he genuinely loves running and the race atmosphere.
Chatted with Rob Krar for a few minutes after a race recently. He was lounging around for awhile after the race, we were getting a drink at the same time, and like Wardian, super genuine and open to bs for a few minutes. They knew their place amongst the crowd and gave off a very appreciative energy of just being out there.
