Are you sure you even know what red flag means?

I'm sure Dave has lessons he can learn from this run...and who knows, maybe he'll finish. He was on quite a roll before this back issue last week came about.
But what you are saying are red flags are just your opinions on things like his pacing and when to take breaks....and who knows, you could be right that he would of been better off doing things differently but I personally disagree with it. That's a big difference between red flags that may be proof of cheating (which you have yet to disclose)
Red flag: infinite self-reference. You know, there are several other people on this planet. They would rather know the right way to do this.
The penny dropped. I get it now. You and Al had a sexual relationship didn’t you? Your insane ramblings are from the broken mind of a man who still misses the man he had a “special” loving relationship with. Did it begin on the road together? After the cross Canada run would you still regularly meet for “fishing trips” or were you only sexual together then? You should write about it. Gay love affairs aren’t really taboo anymore. You love the man, why not share your story with the world?
I lived with the LGBTQ community in Key West for 14 years. We were refugees one & all; they were disowned for their sexuality, me for “wasting my youth” running. All that running is finally paying off answering you, ironically.
Red flag: red necks!

If this is your “pay off”, then I feel bad for the life you’ve wasted, Jesse.
If backing Dave is your payoff, I feel sorrier for you...
I used to think Jesse was just a mentally ill, alcohol fueled idiot. Now that I realize that he’s just a broken hearted man who misses his gay lover I no longer think he’s a piece of shlt. It’s a tragic love story. I am sorry he wasted his whole life not being able to talk about it. Love is beautiful, Jesse. Your special relationship with Al is nothing to hide. Just all makes so much sense now.
Don’t worry, I toughed it out & won Lewis & Clark in ‘89. The Key West paper gave it half a page. I was a big fish on a very small island.
True story: my cousin flew in the next year & said she was looking for “that guy who runs a lot.” The cabbie drove her to the hotel where I was working: the other 30,000 residents were mostly known to DRINK a lot.
Evidence: you said he didn’t cheat, and you’ve been wrong about everything else!

oh yeah, what have I been wrong about?
Like your first post on page 1, where you assured us he’d have plenty of time to get the record & do all those charity functions.
You would have HAD to cheat, to get to those charity functions AND get the record, but I guess you realize that now...
If a run fails, no real tragedy long-term. But cheaters who defrauded a charity could go to prison, which explains a lot.

reading comprehension isn't your strong point, eh? I merely stated that those 30 scheduled events on his site weren't always going to be him being there and not a big time commitment for Dave for those he would attend.
At no point in this entire thread did assure anyone he was going to get the record. I thought he had a good chance to break it but knew there would be obstacles which I've stated in this thread quite a few times. Obviously there is now no chance for the record but he has done a great job with the fundraising and I feel he would have already given up the run if not for the rare disease foundation

seriously, either stop calling him a cheater, or give us all some concrete proof.
You can say his run failed due to whatever reason you want, but there is no proof of any cheating at anytime and for you to keep saying that is low...
I’d advise hacking LetsRun again & shutting down the MB, ‘cause that worked for a little while. Even more suspicious, however....
Take your sweet time getting to Winnipeg, who needs all those cops, cameras, and witnesses? Do really short, fast “days,” so you don’t stay in the open too long. And since no charity would knowingly associate with this scam, hope they don’t find out their resources are being used to hack LetsRun. You people can’t even QUIT in a serious fashion, a new low.
