Actually, Laz praised Young, too. You tend to root for the underdog, and Dave’s a huge underdog here, that’s for sure.

Just to be clear, there isn't a single, specific aspect of the team's work that you're highlighting in your accusation of cheating. If you could please say in as simple a sentence as possible what, exactly, you believe they are doing wrong, that would be very helpful. Do you think Dave is riding in the RV when he says he is running? Do you believe that they are somehow manipulating electronic data to make it appear that he is running faster than he is, or farther than he is? Put simply, how, exactly, do you believe he is cheating? And please don't say "the same way people have said from the start of this thread" or "just look at all the red flags." Are you capable of expressing clearly and succinctly a single specific accusation of cheating and your evidence for it? I don't know Dave and have nothing invested in this run. I dislike cheaters but I dislike just as much the ease with which people toss about unfounded rumors and speculation. Dave's run hasn't gone exactly as his team intended it to, but that doesn't seem terribly surprising. The number of people showing up to run with him, the data they're tracking, their presence on social media, all suggest it would be very difficult to fake this run. So for god's sake if you think you have evidence to the contrary say exactly what it is or please stop posting half-baked, substanceless, cryptic innuendo.
Back to Kouros, his 24-hour WR of 188 miles, he would have lapped Dave almost 5 times every hour, so please spare us the Superman hype.
I’m happy for you that you have nothing invested, you’d be wasting your money.
Main Garmin down. Anyone got the miles so far?
Congratulations. You are the most accomplished troll since David Spencer Hines who flourished in the days of Usenet. His reputation was such that a guide was published to his trolling so that his victims could quickly become aware of who they were dealing with. You certainly match DHS in terms of arrogance and obtuseness as well as the claim of being a 'real authority'.
But you have not reached his level in other areas of trolling. Hines was very accomplished at the straw man argument and would suck in novices with a steadily escalating series of posts that would irritate his victim. Once the victim cracked and responded with a mild insult Hines would retaliate with a withering critique of the victim's intelligence.
Hines was particularly good at tagging other posters with pet insults. Hines's trademark was to designate an acronym to his enemies so he could insult them with the minimum number of key strokes. Thus WASP was the Washington Square Pontificator, LOS, Little Old Schlockmeister and GG, Gotham Groupie. Hines would also throw in a bit of Latin every so often and sign off his posts with a quotation that usually had no relevance to the subject. He knew this really annoyed people.
DSH is still active but he seems to have toned things down in his old age and just seems to cut and paste bits from Breibart and Fox News. Though he is still keeping his pogue insult and lux and veritas tag going.
I just want the miles.
David Hines, can you say, “I want the miles” in Latin?
Reportedly he’s running, he always tweets the start but he didn’t today, hasn’t tweeted in 16 hours, tracker is “down.”
Maybe “whyamihereandwhereisal” (if that is your real name) can tell where “here” is?
Because I’m supposed to drive up “there,” they just told me.
I did say he could get lost in a prairie that big, but I didn’t actually expect it to happen.
I miss the blue dot! posted on insta this morning that tracker is down. This just uploaded to Strava. I wonder if he is done for the day or is breaking the activity up to give us an update.
Thanks!

Ooooooooooooo!
So, comparing Kostelnick, who surprised us with his (legitimate) record two years ago, he was significantly better at 24 hours (37th vs. 77th for Proctor) and more experienced (his “finish” of the bike race across Iowa on foot!, which wasn’t known then).
It’s definitely not Christmas (Past), since they’re trying to steal your record.
You should steal what you won’t work for. Sorry, you’re already doing that!

Why do you keep on bringing up Dave's 24hour record? Yes its not #1 in the world but still solid (Pete did a whole 6km more than Dave..263km vs 257km)
By your own logic, you're somehow trying to associate his 24hour run with his cross Canada run so since Dave's 24hr>Al's, this record should be easily taken by Dave. Thanks for providing all the evidence needed that Dave is a far superior runner than Al :)
