Its really the agents driving this, Flynn is notorious for getting young athletes to go pro.
His first was Allen Webb if you recall. Flynn was the architect behind Webb over racing and ending his career early.
Agents like this care little about the athletes its all about the commission they get for the original contract and cut for each race and bonus.
Shoe companies want to get a jump on athletes now to build the portfolio prior to the rush to sign athletes next year.
Hopefully this kid finishes school and gets his degree.
