And is it possible that Salazar's training has sapped Murphy of his 800 speed .
Nope

Is Vanessa Fraser wearing a BTC kit?
Looks like it. How does she get in with BTC and Schweizer is still in a Mizzou uniform. Fraser is a very solid runner but wouldn't have pegged her to go to BTC. She'll be on the shelf for a long time with BTC trying to train with girls significantly better than her.
Schweizer could be shopping around for the best offer. She is one of the best American collegiate distance runners ever.
Schweizer looks good, in her typical tilted running way. I really hope she'll have a kick
I don't think she would have beaten Shelby, but I'd think Molly could have at least made this a close race.
Good lord Houlihan is legit this year.
Houlihan had wayyy more left than I thought.
Damn. Someone time that last 100. That was incredible running from Houlihan -- I feel like she was bluffing the whole race taking it easy until that last stretch. No contest.
As if yesterday wasn't enough evidence, holy crap Houlihan is fit.
Dammmmnn Houlihan is on another level. Doesn’t even look tired after!
Did someone hand her a bag of baguettes? WTF?

When Houlihan wins this 5k, she'll be the first US woman to have completed the 1500/5000 double at USA outdoors since doper Regina Jacobs did it in 2000. Bernard Lagat did it on 2008.
Is Regina Jacobs now coaching high schoolers? She was at the CA state T&F meet.

And why is Lewis trying to steal one?
Ato or whatever announcer that was held on to her baguette for a tad too long.

Welcome to the big leagues, Karissa.
I wonder what Houlihan ran for the last 200. That was an insane kick. She is unstoppable at the domestic level right now. I think she could take a serious go at the 1500 AR this year in Europe. I think her kick could compete with anyone right now. Interested to see what she can do in a fast 5000m at this point as well.
Baguette exchange wins awkward moment of USATF 18 award
I'm not watching telly, but Shelby does this thing called French Bread Fridays.
Colleen Quigley has French Braid Fridays.
BTC stuff

It's the supposedly cute Instagram thing she does with the rest of the Bowerman "Babes". French braid Friday, and French bread.

Pretty sure that was Quigley that handed her the bread.

Yeah, definitely -- I hope she goes for a few fast times on the circuit in Europe. Could take some serious scalps at least.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
