The 911 call ??? Is he 15 years old? Really, what is wrong with this guy? Out of all the champions named at this meet, who will do something as remotely trashy? NONE.

Haters gonna hate
I would have much preferred a reference to the East grandstand murder, that would have been grade A trolling.
"like father, like son"
Yea, he can run, very talented ,but not the classiest guy out there.
He did kill his reputation.

What's the matter with you? Centro is one of the best, most forthright interviews out there, treats the sport and the process with respect, and generally is a huge asset to track and field marketing-wise. A little bit of celebration is good marketing for the sport.

Class is a 15 year old homeschooler.
I am Letsrun. I hate Galen Rupp because he has no personality. I also hate Centro because he has personality. Grr. I hate everything.
Would hate to see any entertainment and showmanship in T&F. Then maybe some people might actually watch.
This is Nike marketing, nothing more. The racing is plenty exciting enough, it's just we've wasted years in Eugene, to the detriment of the sport. And now we have assholes confusing bad sportsmanship with showmanship.

This. Want to guess a big part of why Bolt was so popular (other than being fast)? He showed some personality afterwards. The lay-person that doesn't follow T&F super closely are used to bat-flips and touchdown dances and celebrations, not a completely gassed athlete sprawled out on the track (even if the Letsrun crowd would appreciate and understand that is a perfectly acceptable state to be in after a well-run race).
It would be funny if these are the same whiners that say NBC isn't helping to grow the sport because they dare charge for their service.
The phone sign was just to tell everyone that he still talks to Salazar on the phone everyday.
The fans say they want personalities yet criticize every celebration. No wonder NFL team celebrations were banned then reinstated last year, the idiot fans can't make up their minds. And the ones criticizing have obviously never won an important race. Sure, it was kind of stupid. But it definitely wasn't overly offensive or anything like that. The champ deserves to get away with a bit of a corny celly. Most people are too scared to try any inventive celly. And it's sure as hell better than nothing.
What is celly ?
The guy is a tool
He is an Olympic gold champion. He should not get excited about beating a field full of nobodies in a sub-par competition
This is like the Warriors beating the d-league all star team.
Yeah I agree, this field is so weak he should've just done a dab or some sht and then slapped up the boys.
Man that celebration was awesome.
Chacne sauce soyboy. What a tool.
I do like Centro and his personality.
But once you win an Olympic Gold medal it's a bit eye rolling to do a cheesy celebration after winning against one of the weakest US 1500m fields in years.
Especially after getting smoked at Pre, which probably was his most important race of 2018 with no world titles to win this year.
Jakob Ingebrigtsen has a 1989 Ferrari 348 GTB and he's just put in paperwork to upgrade it
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Strava thinks the London Marathon times improved 12 minutes last year thanks to supershoes
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
