yeah, i made a series of small profitable trades for a while, and i kind of liked it becuase they were free as long as i was a "maker", and it was interesting to trade when the stock market was closed. But with the strong downward trend, it only took a few trades that ate up the smaller profitable trades. And the fact that you can't short it and it's manipulated fairly certainly, etc., etc., Should have seen it coming....

A young guy I work with put like all his money (less than 10k) into crypto currencies and was adamant that it would pay off eventually.

The cryptocurrency market is rapidly developing, it can't be dead. Actually, sometimes questions like this one make me mad. Cryptocurrency was and still the best investment for now. This Correction is a result of the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies. Naturally, when a lot of new people buy into these coins, the price goes up. People who bought in early will then want to cash some of their investments out, to make a profit, especially now that there are rumors of regulations. You still can buy bitcoin UK trought Polyx.

This. BLOCK CHAIN technology, is where the future development lies- crypto currency that is attached to a block chain for transactions might have some value ie shipping costs etc.

I see the saturated market dying off and a handful prevail as relevant but not going to be as big as something with real explosive value say: crispers...
