Walmsley is about 7 MILES ahead now.
When did I say Jurek was done? I said he had an entire career of racing behind him... which he does. The dude is almost 44 years old and has been racing for over two decades. You can't compare his career stats to a 29 year old.
Hopefully he knows when you turn right on 49...

Well you posted: "You have to be a complete idiot to not understand that Jurek is at the end of his prime." You should learn to read your own posts.

Hammond into second now through 85.2. Or is D'haene's chip just acting up again?
Dhaene is 17 minutes ahead of Hammond.

Okay. Move on, you two. Nobody cares.

Just the chip. The gap is slowly closing, but D'Haene still has 17 minutes over Hammond for second. Walmsley of course is running a race of his own.
If you don't think Jurek is at the end of his prime, you're just silly. He's 44 years old. There's no chance he can keep up with any of these young dudes that are out there crushing course records. He wasn't this fast even when he was in his prime.
Athletic prime occurs in the late 20's. Pretty much everyone knows that...

This. I feel like I'm on a road trip with my kids. I'll turn this car around, dammit!

There is a station right on Highway 49 now; at mile 94.3. And he reaches the hwy at 93.5 miles. If he goes right he runs off course to the station at 96.8. If he goes left he reaches the 94.3 station.
13:42 with 5.7 miles to go.... Jim is struggling badly now.

Then don't read the comments, dumbarse.

13:42 / 94.3 = 8:43 pace
The course record is 8:50.5 pace.
@iRunFar
Jim Walmsley leads the race at Pointed Rocks (mile 94.3) in 13:42 elapsed. That’s 6 minutes ahead of course record - he looks fine but struggling a little. #WS100

Well, that’s not gonna happen. Quick math showed me that was silly. I was distracted by the kids in the backseat.
Where is Jim? It's been a while since he hit a checkpoint.

Savoring victory. Waving to his fans. Taking his time. Sprint finish.

Wasn't the split for Olsen at 93.5 miles? So Walmsley is 6 minutes + 0.8 miles ahead of pace? That would be say 13 minutes total.
