3k has good temps. 62 degrees.
Pacer out in 58!! and the guys are on it.
Ben True in lead pack at bell. 642ish? LEad pack s 41 to 43.
Kenyans off the sauce, Ethiopians dominating now.
True should have moved to the marathon years ago.
I'll never understand why they run a commercial in a seven and a half minute race. It's like they're trying to piss people off. How hard is p-in-p?
Anyway, it cut away, but the pace seemed to sag hard in the middle. They went out fast - rabbit was sub 60 at 400. Seemed like they were trying to clip off 7:30 pace but when it came back with 1 to go they were 10-15 seconds off that.
True just didn't have the kick to go with Berega, Belew and the four other anonymous Ethiopians. I'm guessing he's looking to peak at USAs and late summer DL races, but 13:16, 7:41 in the last few days isn't gonna scare for wins. Hope that finishing kick comes into form as the summer progresses.

It wasn't like Ben was in 15th place in that Stockholm 5K. He was 5th on a hot day.
1) 25 Guys in the 3k? That was great.
2) If Barshim hits the bar while walking under it it counts as a foul right? He almost hit it after celebrating his jump.
As for True, he didn't have the kick the others did but also if its slow he needs to be right on the lead. Why spot everyone a second when they start kicking?
Dibaba just doesn’t have her 2015 speed.
It looked like the women hit 600m around ~1:26. Did they really slow down that much with only one runner breaking 2:00?
8.66 for ecehvarria. Wind legal

Gee I wonder why!
Remember when she closed a 1500 with windmill arms? Most doped-up performance I've ever seen. Now she struggles to break 2 in an open 800. kek
Echevarria showing the world Manyonga is yesterday’s man.
Guliyev completely looks like a guy who would line up at the front of a 5k and run 28mins
57.18 at 400 then Arafi just crushed them the last lap. Her first sub 2:00 since 2015. Dibaba 2:01.51

It's so crazy. Manyonga was UNDEFEATED last year.
Christian Taylor running the 400 for the fun of it

I left off #3. Norah Jeruto hurdled straight into the water on her water jumps. How much slower is this?
2) Yes, absolutely it would be a foul. Doesn't happen often though and I've never seen it at the pro level.
