They are by far the best group with ZERO Olympians in Rio, that's for sure.

I dont know how Mackey talked his way into that gig but he deserves strictly based putting the wool over on that one
These are some great inquiries. Anybody have any answers?
OTC seems middle distance only based in Eugene?
Does Asics actually sponsor Furman Elite (just lost Buckalski)?
Hear Purrier is signing with Coogan/NB as he is good friends with Purrier's college coach?
Is it true that Freedom Track Club has 8 slots for $50,000/year?
Elle Purrier to NB Boston according to Mark Coogan's Instagram...not sure how reliable that is though.

Asics only shoe company without group.
Nike with 3 groups.
Adidas with BAA, Terrance in SD, and tinmanelite
Reebok with Zap and new Fox group
Brooks Beatsts
Under Armour with Haas (Casey/Schneider) and Skechers (King Ches)
people here keep saying that there is a Fox/Reebok group but by now you think if it was happening there would have been a press release of some kind. By now athletes (either already established or recent grads signing a contract) would have been officially mentioned in some way.

There is some kind of Reebok group training in Boston. Molly Seidal referenced Saucony Freedom TC training with them in a recent Instagram post...
OTC is just middle distance except for Mead who essentially lives in Flagstaff. Blankenship has always done his own stuff.
Asics only gives Furman Elite gear. There is a new Asics director who came from Nike will either get behind it like other shoe groups or be done with it.
Purrior to NB/Boston but she will be based in New Hampshire for the most part. Not even sure Coogan will write training. Cory McGee same set-up.
Saucony pats Bore to coach and probably have way more than $400,000 in salary as suggested (8 x $50,000)
Barazza signing anywhere or just going to be a free agent with Magness?
Isaiah Harris is listed as NIKE for tomorrows 800 final.
Nikki Hiltz signed with adidas and will be coached in San Diego by Terrence Mahon.
Any chance Karissa Schweizer signs with New Balance (or similar) and trains with Emma Coburn's group?
Vannessa Fraser of Stanford was wearing a Bowerman jersey during the 5k final, seems a little surprising that she was able to get in with them.
See thrower Maggie Ewen is listed as "Nike" in the shot put "live results (https://results.usatf.org/2018Outdoors/). (Believe she was listed as Unattached going into the Championships.)
Why would someone like Purrier want to stay in Durham to train? I don't understand that all.
Bump
Bump.

There will be no movement until McLaughlin’s deal is done. Norman and Benjamin are the other big ones, and everything else is on hold in the meantime.
Some of the athletes on your list are wearing pro kits without actually signing for yet unspecified contract terms and amounts. It’s a crazy world.

Saw Karissa Schweitzer in the stands at the Portland Track Festival, hanging with Alistar Cragg of BTC. Take that for what you will.
I’m betting Alice Wright ends up with NAZ Elite in Flagstaff. They’re looking to add women to their roster, and Alice seems ideal for the half and full marathon distances, which is what that team is focused on. Plus, she’s been training at altitude throughout her college years, so it would be a fairly easy transition to Flagstaff’s thin air.
Looks like I accurately called where Alice Wright was going, per NAZ Elite’s press release this morning.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Jakob Ingebrigtsen has a 1989 Ferrari 348 GTB and he's just put in paperwork to upgrade it
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
