Lol, now again like last year there's this awkward silence of not knowing who won the title why the announcers futz around with no information.

All they need to do is cut the broadcast and switch to baseball now to complete the ESPN coverage trifecta
F bomb by the Purdue chick when she realized she got passed.
The whole schedule change was done to "tell the team story" for ESPN. then we send knuckleheads into the booth that are not versed on the team aspect. Nearly ZERO mention of Stanford. And if it doesn't happen on the track, the announcers don't care.....and Dwight is a field guy and the chick was hept.
We have a product here. We just can't seem to get out of our own way. There needs to be someone with COLLEGE TEAM knowledge. Saying "you doped out the meet this morning" doesn't cut it.
Contact is considered "incidental". USC wins it!
So fed up with the coverage. They find every excuse to cut away from distance races, even talking about the new stadium plans instead? Every year I can’t help but get pissed off at the know nothing commentators. How many times are they going to mention the weather!? And I gotta say I’m thankful that purrier is graduated bc if I had to hear about how she grew up on a dairy farm one more time I would have put my fist through my tv
What a last race at old Hayward Field!

I think that was the reason they were hired by ESPN. That is all they did was futz around with no information. Except of course that if you run in lane 2 you are running longer.

According to Malmo the heavy rain and wind makes the air much less dense, so they should be running much FASTER, not slower.

Nobody has mentioned Allie's sprint finish in the steeple just a few events before she knew she had a 5K race.? She had an insurmountable lead & simply ran all out that last 200. Why? To break 9:40???

Your version was far superior to mine. I didn't see this thread and made a similar reference in the "USC wins it" thread.
Too bad we didn't have those Depths of Hell announcers: "She's out on her feet!"
