The meet record is on borrowed time. 27:14 with 4 laps to go!! Lead pack down to 6.
Who is Ben Flanagan?
Who's got this?
Pace is slowing again at 8000m and Schweizer is probably just biding her time.
bad announcing, why break now too? wrote:

They just referenced a slow start in this 10K, so stupid. 5:06 first mile is not slow or 'moderate.'
Announcer said Wright ran last year and also in 2006. Yes, 2006. Sure they meant 2016.
Announcer also was super disrespectful to Allie Ostrander during the Steeplechase.
Yea, they said she looked two years old.
Schweizer making a move

Uh oh, throwing down the hammer and probably going after the meet record.
I need to rewind, but think one announcer said something about Barbie's too. Really bad stuff.
Sharon Lokedi takes the lead!
32:09 meet record.
I loved this interview. From 9th in her state meet to 9th at NCAAs in 1 year. From 2:09 to 2:01 as a true frosh!!
Results?
Top 6 broke the old meet record.
The guy announcer said something like, 'I know it looks like she just finished playing with her barbies...' and the girl said she looked two years old.
Good race in the girls 10K. Wonder if the fast double at west regionals took a bit out of Switzer (sp).

What a race, and man did Lokedi deserve it. Six NCAA track appearances and never finished worse than 6th but never been really at that championship-contending level yet. Excited to see her next year.
Perfect conditions. NCAA meet is usually not a distance friendly.

Nice win by Lokedi.
The top 6 all broke the old meet record.
That's pretty amazing.
