Chavez is the best thing to happen to the sport in terms of journalism and reporting. Between the SI pieces and running Citius Mag
Did you ever find any fast food restaurants?

Great piece on Ben.
Liked it as well as I don't have to say "This thread is useless without pics" as it includes pics.

Wow. Standards are low these days. Chris is too interested in being the athletes buddy instead of covering them.

Seconded. The level of journalism in track and field is very low. Chavez is green and doesn't know what he's doing. Way too buddy-buddy and I don't understand why he broadcasts so much about his own running. Nobody cares.
A few years ago I would have said Jonathan Gault is talented but needed a professional editor, but his stuff has improved a lot. He is at least trying to raise the bar. He asks great questions and is ambitious with profiles.
Even the Brojos' journalism is a mile better than Chavez's.
Ben Flanagan's mom is awesome.

Yeah, I really enjoyed their recent piece on the dearth of fast food at SFO.

Agreed. He is my favorite track reporter, no doubt. I enjoy his stuff and like to hear about his own races.

A message board thread is not journalism. Idgaf what they post on the boards.
Their analysis is on point, and their writing is clear. I can tolerate a few typos along the way.
I guess it's mostly Rojo who does the writing? I don't even know. They always just write, "by LetsRun.com."
She the real MVP
Hardworking, optimistic, great guy. Glad to see him succeed after being injured for a while
Cool interview. Thanks Chris! I enjoy all your content.
