No. But I've been to the Winchester Mystery House in Santa Cruz. You?

very nice
There is quite a bit of fast affordable food in SFO - burger joint, burrito place, Mediterranean, sandwiches, bahn mis, etc. The food court in international is delish, wood fired pizza a la minute, and terrific salads.
I don't really understand maybe the gripe is there aren't many low quality national chains?
Rojo, just because American heroes General James Mattis, Henry Kissinger, Betsy Devos and Riley Bechtel (plus non-American Rupert Murdoch) believed in Theranos and lost out doesn't mean there is anything wrong with American capitalism. I hear Sweden is nice this time of year - they have laws that protect average joes like you and me from losing $100M investments in tech startups. It sounds like it might be your type of place - a real safe space, if you know what I mean. Also there is a place called Burger Joint in SFO terminal 2.

To the lady at the desk's credit, she did say right after that they don't believe in fast food that there are two and theonly one close was the Burger King. I went there but they were still serving breakfast.
My most recent is the WIFI in San Fran of all places doesn't work. I am having to use my phone. I thought these SIlicon Valley people were supposed to be way smarter than all of us.
Is it all a House of Cards? It's starting to feel that way but my judgement may be clouded as I got up at 4 am and then spent 3 hours on the plane reading "Bad Blood" about Theranos, and now the 24 ounce beer that came with the Chinese food is starting to kick in.
Sigh. This is what we get with the libs in charge.
MUSAGA
The only burger place - next to a craft pizza place - was under construction.
Not gonna lie, the food did appear to be higher quality than most airport places but it should be as it's 50% more expensive. I'm used to paying $8 at an airport not $13. The beer purchase was spontaneous - a great value relatively speaking and I figured I needed something that would make me go to sleep as I've been up since the equivalent of 1 am.
I'm sure San Fran is nice if you make $500k per year. It's kind of like running. Average joes don't like it.
We love it but that's because we all have jobs (or trust funds) that pay out 250k per year and give us time to run 100 mpw. Plus we have models as wives and don't need to waste time dating.

Kid in front of him is Noah Affolder.
This was funny, LOL. Well done.

Why would only low income enjoy San Francisco?
you're really generalizing.
stop writing.
we also make a lot more money annually than the rest of the country, so the high prices are a bit more relative.
my job is Austin would pay $30,000 less per year and i make under $100k

So $24 for a chinese meal including what must have been a $10+ beer? Maybe you need AA?
The beer was 7.99. A coke was like 3.50. I went for the better deal.
Update. The Stanford guys are on the plane. Should I pay the kid in front of me $5 bucks to go up to him and act like he’s a big fan? Ask for an autograph?
how loaded did you get at the airport?
I used to have to travel 2-3x month for work and finally bought a delta lounge pass for $350 my last couple years with that job...best decision I ever made. Never went hungry, always walked on to the plane with plenty of liquor that I was generously served at the lounge bar, then transferred into a empty water bottle, and made out like a bandit with the lounge snacks. Alaska lounges were the best, they had full blown salads that I would stock up on. I even figured out which concessionaire had plastic to-go containers downstairs (at lax) and would grab one on my way into the lounge, fill it up, then take it on the plane, it was ridiculous. Also cheaper than $24 when amortized over the whole year.
RoJo, I love you brother but you have so much to learn about travel. perhaps I'll text you some tips one of these days.
Have flown to Eugene a few times from the east coast and always go through SFO - I find it real easy. Much better than making the drive down from Portland.
WIFI - have always found it to be real strong and reliable
Food - yea agree with you was looking for a basic burger place and was after the fact on this last trip that I found Burger King but Klien's Deli makes great sandwiches and will not bust your wallet
Why not just bring some food with you in your carry on luggage? Totally allowed.

Salami, cheese and trail mix is my go to when travelling.

What's your take on the termination of Pete Dolan and resignation on Metcalf?
I've taken to fasting while traveling. Don't have to worry about eating at the airport and I feel better on the flights.
A. You seem a little more drunk and whiny than normal.
B. How on earth do you get fast food, god and swimsuit models all twisted into one complaint about how hard your life is?
Take your right wing complaining to a breitbart forum troll. SFO is no more expensive than any other major city international airport. I have enjoyed my meals there. There is a Peruvian option, Limón, started by an immigrant with great story. Of course, you would have wanted him kicked out or kept from coming in. Looking forward to you clutching your pearls post about Eugene and its homelessness problem.
I feel like the only reason rojo is complaining about San Fransisco airport is because San Francisco is a very liberal place and a large amount of people on this site, including rojo, allow political bias to cloud every single one of their waking thoughts and feelings.
I'm sure SF airport is no different to every other airport in a developed country - expensive, and full of fast food restaurants.
SFO is my favorite airport for food by far. Love flying through there.
And not that there's anything wrong with having a beer in the airport, but it's not fair to tack that onto the price of the meal for purposes of your complaint. If the booze is that important, do what I do--fill your toiletry bag with 3 oz plastic shampoo bottles of your favorite scotch.
