I guess if you are Kenyan and have a weak mind, you can still get on podiums.

It's all a terrible misunderstanding. EPO doesn't work on Kenyans.

Discouraging and disheartening, isn't it? -
"It also made allegations that Rotich had demanded £10,000 ($13,000/€11,000) for agreeing to warn a British coach about imminent doping tests."
It will be interesting to see if he identifies this coach to verify his claim under oath, or if he just takes one for the team. -

^This. That will really make him rich. Same with Aden, btw. -

It would be interesting to find out who this coach is. -
Him ‘warning ‘ a British coach about a doping test says absolutely nothing about that coach or any athletes they coach.
It probably suggests that he (Rotich) believes they (British) would have something to gain by being warned but if that were the case how on earth would he know that?
All it shows is a pathetic and desperate attempt from Rotich to extort money. -

They should have used the NOP defense. Have their shady doctor refuse to release medical records, because they are "private", and refuse to answer investigator's questions because NOP attorneys. That way you get to keep your medals. -

Medical records are private. Not sure why you used the scare quotes. Or do you think nothing should be private in an athlete's life? -
We all know that the only reason they want those records private is to hide illicit activity and that none of these athletes have thyroid conditions. F off

You mean identify the coach he tried to extort but without any evidence this coach or his athletes had anything to hide?
All it means, if true, is Rotich went up to some coach and said give me 10k if you want to be warned. Maybe it was a 'fishing trip' or he just assumed the guy was using dope.
Whether said coach had something to hide is quite another matter. -
