This is another reason to keep a training log and record how you feel. If you look back and realize you are extra fatigued 2 days after every hard effort than I think you have your answer.
Also, I would not let this stop me from taking a 0 day. I like to take a complete off day every 2-3 weeks regardless of what my mileage is.
