Seriously, he crapped all over the entire field. Last year some elite Kenyan did the same thing, didn't want to face off against actual elites so they he registered for the citizen field. Everytime this happen it steals the glory from everday runner joes who work and aren't pros. This race needs to consider not allowing elites who have placed in national races to race in the citizen field.

For those who don’t know, Bolder Boulder has a separate, invite-only Elite Race (the International Challenge) and every year a few local pros who aren’t invited into that race run the Citizens’ Race. Nothing to see here, move on . . .
A few yrs ago he blogged about how he found out he was low testosterone. He eventually took down the post. Is his sudden rise due to taking something?
tyler could easily get on the USA B team. Fail, some guys just want an easy win.

“Steals glory”? Grow up. It’s an open-entry race, there’s no glory. He registered for a race and ran it. Sounds like what every other hobby jogger does. If you think the competition is too tough in that race, you can find another....oh, but wait, I guess you disapprove of that idea, huh? So you’ll just have to suck it up.
He ran in same field since 2015........so?? He just won this time around.
Were you bitching about him running the citizen’s race the last few years when he didn’t win? By Boulder standards I would consider Tyler a “citizen” racer. Lives in the area, has a full time job, a semi professional road racer… It’s not like Galen Rupp showed up for the citizen’s race.

So your idea is that if someone isn't invited to the elite race, they just shouldn't feel like it's socially acceptable for them to run the race at all?
Tyler prob wanted more hills because the elites race is too flat
Also the citizens race basically has pro’s in it

That's nothing. I heard that some everyday runner joe got into the elite race, came last, and stole the glory from the pro who would've been last.

He must just be a local runner. Probably very talented but no where near the elite class that was brought in for the race.
You do know that Olympians and international class runner have often run the Cit Race?

I don't know about Tyler getting "tons of women" but he's married now and his wife is kinda the prettiest woman I ever saw.
