Only if she actually put all of her marbles into running. Does she even train seriously now? She had the potential to do great.

Her wiki says she is Greek-American. She was born here. She is American.

Massive respect to Alexi for constantly finding ways to spin her obscene levels of narcissism and self-obsession into some form of a living. It’s irritating and she’s not a very good artist or writer, but she is rather amazing at promoting her brand.

I would say that she’s the true embodiment of the American Dream, but she runs for Greece so...

Ummm...no disrespect, but she's not really "all that". But...my gosh, she's both brave and confident in herself, so go for it girl!

But $100? I agree, that is totally absurd. I know you read these boards and are reading this thread Alexi, that is a fact. Come on girl, that's beyond brash. I can get posters from top models, real models, for way less than that. Sorry, but you've got to rethink this one Alexi. The poster is right, someone gave you poor advice. None of you appreciate what a great bargain this is.

First, how many times do you get to get a poster of a Greek goddess? Do you have a poster of Athena? Aphrodite? I didn't think so. This is a unique opportunity to get a glimpse of life on Mount Olympus.

Second, this not just any poster. It is a SIGNED poster. Signing all those posters requires a lot of work, and you really need to take that into account.

Third, the $100 probably covers shipping and handling, and I can tell you that packing a poster properly is no simple thing. Those heavy cardboard tubes don't come cheap.

Fourth, Alexi is not just a runner but an artist and an INSPIRATION. How much is it worth to instill dreams in an unmotivated teenage girl? You may say "less than $100." I say: PRICELESS.

Fifth, multiculturalism is chic nowadays and you can't get much more multicultural than an American-Greek-Duck demigoddess.

People laughed at the Wright Brothers, and they used to call Amazon.com "Amazon.con" back when it didn't make any profits. The guy who invented irrigation probably was the butt of all his Sumerian friends' jokes. Since time immemorial, visionaries have been ridiculed and mocked. Alexi Pappas is no different. This thread is irrefutable proof of that.

I personally am doing to stock up on these Greek goddess special edition posters, as I am sure they will increase in value. Sure, you can all laugh now, but don't come crying to me 5 years from now when these collector's items are worth $10,000 each.

Just sell whatever remains at a lower price. Sell whatever people will buy at $100, then once sales have stalled she can drop the price to $10 and get rid of the rest.
