Jakob is unlikely to develop hips and put on 20 pounds overnight.

So the all time best winterolympian from the country in the world with one of the best antidoping regime, growing up at a farm, using her arm-muscles three hours a day in training should look like a female runner otherwise she is doing drugs???
Cross country skiers shouldn't look like runners, but she doesn't look like other female skiers either Or male skiers for that matter. Her arms look twice as big as the World Cup overall men's winner Klaebo.

No. He was born in November 2000, about six weeks before the 21st century began.
Explanation, for those who need it. The present calendar begins with 1 AD. There is no year 0 AD. Therefore the first decade ended at the end of 10 AD, the first century at the end of 100 AD, the first millennium at the end of 1000 AD.
Wow great race!!!
I have one funny anecdote about Jakob Ingebritsen. Last year he was in my town for the last days before European Championship, so I met him at my local Gym. He was running on a treadmill at 4'/km pace and I was running on the treadmill
next to him . After running for about 30 ' he went to do some exercise than come back to the treadmill to do some fast stride.
So I greet him and then snap a pic togheter with my daughter that was a fan of him.
Then while I was still running on the treadmill I heard all comments of "bodybuilders" in the gym that was saying how he was running with a bad style and how he wanted to destroy the treadmill ( when he was doing the fast strides of course he was doing some noise also because the treadmill quality was very poor and the pace very fast!!) I was shocked to hear those comments.
So I just say to those two bodybuilders " Do you know who is that guy?" They say " No, but he dont know how to run"
HA HA HA ! I said ." Well he's 16 years old and he's the youngest athlete to run the Mile in 3'56"29!!!!
They stare at me like I was speaking an unknow language and I left them to their ignorance.
Jakob is really a great talent, amazing race at the Bowerman mile.
All the best for him
Haha bodybuilders, after I use the squatmachine they randomly pass it to check what weight I used...

Actually he was born september 19th, organizers got it wrong. You have a valid point though!

Bekele's fastest mile is a 4:01 (indoors), so Jakob is already faster than him.
Don't forget, Jakob has run 8:26 in the steeplechase as well. No way Bekele would have even attempted that. Too short to get over the barriers.

I see a better chance of him becoming the next El G, a strength-oriented miler who can be a threat up to 5k. Maybe he will run a sub-8:00 steeple too.
Besides his talent and training, Jakob has two other things going for him. He seems to be a very smart racer, knowing how to pace himself based on his fitness, and a killer instinct and desire to be the best.
After his 3:58 last year, people were speculating if his progression would slow down. Well, he just took 6 seconds off his time from the same meet a year ago. Who knows how fast he will continue to progress, but barring any serious injuries it's pretty much a foregone conclusion he will be a sub-3:30 guy and compete for global medals, possibly sooner than many expected. Beyond that who knows, but I don't see any reason to think he couldn't end up as dominant as El G/Geb/Bekele at their primes.
Webb took 10 seconds off his mile time in the same time span.

With is age being legit or at least can be verified unlike the guys we doubt from the underdeveloped countries, and also not saying that he is doped since he also is from a country we trust, this guy proves that a 17 year old can do so much and can run way faster than we think. He makes me start to believe in times that some legit East African juniors run (the times that usually make us either think they are age cheats or they are on drugs).
Countries "we trust". Who is this we you speak of? Usually "make us". Who is this us you speak of?

Happy for you! Next you should turn your attention to white guys sprinting under 10 seconds. It is possible!

Dozens???
You do understand that there are only 10 juniors that have run faster than him (age cheats included) and he has one more year in that category.
I think that the number of people his age that ran faster than him is one. Only Driouch has run faster than him at age 17. I don't think that Driouch's age was ever contested, but his biological passport was and his performance from 2012 has been erased, which makes Jakob number one.
So who are these dozens???

Welp, he had a good place to observe the action.
Watching Jakob ingebrigtsen is fun. Watching the expectations for him go into orbit here is also fun -- the next Bekele, the next El G. Maybe he is the next Eliud Kipchoge. Maybe he is some sort of reincarnation of Zatopek -- they share the same birthday. Maybe he is a Norse god.
I will say this about his 3:52 mile -- his hair was perfect.
