Fraser and Ostrander are just lurking on Kelati in this heat.

Aaaaaand I was right. Fraser and Ostrander in 15:27, Kelati in 15:28. These are some might fast times from NCAA Regionals. Would like to see an NCAA record at the Champs, but I don't that any of these ladies will go out that fast. Schweizer might be able to do it, but she has to do the double and she is best served by sitting and kicking for the double.
Allie usually finds an ideal spot to tuck it seems.....nationals will be interesting.
Assuming Karissa takes it out hard and Kurgat goes with, I can see Allie tucking into 4th and then her and/or Fraser kicking for 2nd past a gassed Kurgat and Kelati
Top 5 going to be dog fight no matter what though, should be fun

You must not have watched indoor nationals this year.
Wright and Kurgat going to go out hard in the 10k and 5k, i don't think Karissa has the mentality to let them go

I did! And forgot that she dominated both races.
Norman unofficial 43.1 on relay split
Switzer ran 15:19 and 32:14 to qualify? She will be toast for nationals, why would she blow her load like that in a qualifying race????
New Mexico ladies pushed pace in 5k and 10k. They didn’t double and most top girls (Karissa, Lokedi, Allie, Taylor, Clark) did. Perhaps they’re trying to wear everyone down so Kurgat/Kelati have a better shot to beat Karissa in 5k in Eugene.
10k and 5k could also be fast in Eugene with NM trio and Roher unafraid of taking up the lead. If so, 5k will be interesting. I think Karissa wins regardless, but V. Fraser looked really strong tonight and running fresh would be my pick to challenge Karissa if she falters.

Women don't have loads to blow.
Norman was rolling but 800m runner Devin Dixon split 44.1 on the same leg.
Clearly you have not had a lot of experience with women...

So true. I wouldn't have known when I was just a young lad either. They got a he.l of a lot bigger loads to blow than any men do.
